Details released for Stan Musial visitation on Thursday

The public visitation for Stan Musial is planned to run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Cathedral Basilica on Lindell Boulevard.

It may be the public's best chance to honor Musial, as his funeral on Saturday will be closed to the public, the St. Louis Archdiocese has announced.

On Thursday, Lindell will remain open during the visitation, though city police will be on hand to help with parking on the boulevard, between Newstead and Taylor. Visitors are asked to enter the cathedral through the main doors on Lindell.
